Last night we had Paul's and Bill's birthday dinner at Cheever's. All we seem to do when Bill and Di come to visit us is eat and we love taking them to new places everytime they come. We've hit so many of our local restaurants that pretty soon we'll have to start doubling up. They loved Cheever's and we had a great time talking and planning for future trips. The guys both got the pork special, Diane got the filet and I got their signature chicken fried steak. Which for those of you that are thinking about some chain restaurant's version you have no idea how great fried meat is until you've had it here. Can chicken fried steak be gourmet?
Tonight I am helping serve pizza at the Ronald McDonald House and then probably heading to Iguana for Taco Tuesday. We also want to hit up Cafe Antiqua, Sage, Big Truck Tacos and I wanted to cook before they left. I think we would have to eat four meals a day to hit the rest of our spots. We'll probably just have to hold a few back until next time.
